Retail Reunited
It’s no secret that the retail sector has been blindsided by the pandemic.
Yet experts are optimistic about retail’s recovery. While sales may take a few months to recover, it is predicted that bricks-and-mortar retailers will bounce back.
However, the post-pandemic retail landscape may have changed considerably in that time with the reliance on online shopping potentially raising consumer expectations around customer service and in-store experiences.
To find out how drastically consumer expectations have changed since the pandemic began, we commissioned independent research company Censuswide to survey 2,000 UK and 2,000 US shoppers aged 18 and above in December 2020.
The report reveals:
- What consumers want from in-store shopping
- What would encourage consumers back into the store
- How retailers can recoup consumer loyalty
- How shopping habits have shifted because of the pandemic
